MORGAN COUNTY — The Morgan County Sheriff's Office and Indiana Conservation Officers are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who was found dead near a Martinsville boat ramp early Friday morning.
A deputy checking the area near the Henderson Ford Boat Ramp around 1:30 a.m. discovered the body.
The sheriff's office describes the victim as being a white female between the ages of 25 and 35 who stands between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 6 inches tall with brown shoulder-length hair. The victim was wearing a gray shirt, blue pants and gray socks when she was located.
Investigators say the victim has a nose piercing and a rose tattoo on the inside of her forearm, which is pictured below.
The woman's death is being investigated by the Morgan County Major Crimes Task Force and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Law Enforcement.
