Kevin Gregory

The name Gregory is synonymous with weather in Indianapolis. Kevin Gregory's father, Bob, worked for three decades as a meteorologist here in the Circle City. In 1972, while in second grade, Kevin started tagging along with his dad to work on Friday nights.

Kevin has been walking into Studio A at WRTV for over 30 years. Technology has certainly changed over the decades, but not Kevin’s informative, calm, and friendly delivery. Ok, his hair color has changed. He’s now as gray as a cloudy day!

Gregory is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Purdue University. You might catch him wearing his Purdue letter jacket during a forecast on occasion. He was an All-Big Ten tennis player for the Boilers while earning a degree in Telecommunications. He’s also a graduate of the Mississippi State Broadcast Meteorology program.

Gregory has earned the American Meteorological Society's Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation, granted to broadcast meteorologists who meet established criteria for scientific competence and effective communication skills in their weather presentations.

Among radio and television meteorologists, the CBM designation is sought as a mark of distinction and recognition. He is also a member of the National Weather Association.
