INDIANAPOLIS — Sip on a Hulk Hogan or Kevin Bacon cocktail while playing skee ball at the new 80's and 90's inspired bar in Downtown Indianapolis.
The retro watering hole offering classic arcade games, 16-Bit Retro Arcade Bar, made its grand opening on Thursday evening at 110 East New York Street.
The old-school inspired bar offers cocktails named after pop culture references (like a Bill Nye Old Fashioned), 36 craft beers on tap, and over 50 vintage arcade games.
Gamers can find Dig Dug, Q*bert, Ms. Pac Man, Donkey Kong and so many other classics.
The Indy location has an industrial modern, yet cozy vibe, with six garage doors and a patio.
16-Bit has five other locations where they serve arcade game novices in Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Charlotte, Nashville, and Dublin (yes, as in Ohio).
The Indianapolis 16-Bit will operate from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Thursday and Friday, from 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Saturday 12 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 1 a.m.
