One of the most legendary shows returns to TV screens on Sunday night.
Ryan Seacrest, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie return for another season of American Idol with a two-hour premiere starting at 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The episode's famed judge auditions will take place in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Yes, this is a new one.
Future auditions will happen in Louisville, Kentucky; Los Angeles, California; New York City, New York and Denver, Colorado.
Aspiring singers will see if they have what it takes to earn a coveted golden ticket to Hollywood.
Katy Perry recently talked about what she's looking for in the contestants this year.
"And I'm going to continue to look for that instant identity. Because it isn't just a singing competition. Of course it's a singing competition if you can't sing you can't be in this compeition. But it's not just that, it's really...it's not like American Singer, it's the Idol. And for the Idol factor you got to have so many different things going for you. And that's what I'm always going to look for."
