SOUTH BEND — The Billy Joel concert originally slated for Saturday, June 20 at Notre Dame Stadium has been pushed back to next year due to COVID-19 concerns.
The concert has been postponed to June 26, 2021.
The University of Notre Dame made the announcement about the rescheduled concert on Thursday, stating the following:
"Due to concerns surrounding COVID-19, the upcoming Billy Joel concert at Notre Dame Stadium has been rescheduled. The concert, originally scheduled for June 20, 2020, will now be held on June 26, 2021.
Tickets purchased for the 2020 concert will be honored on the rescheduled date. Ticketmaster will contact via email all who purchased tickets with refund options for those unable to attend next year. They will have 30 days to respond."
