INDIANAPOLIS — Cardi's B's concert Tuesday night in Downtown Indianapolis has been postponed and will be rescheduled for Sept. 11 due to an "unverified threat to the artist."
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Cardi postponed her show due to the threat but it poses no danger to the public.
This evening, there was a scheduled concert at Bankers Life. We were notified of an unverified threat to the artist and the artist canceled this evening’s concert - there is no immediate threat to public safety, this not an active incident. Ongoing investigation #IMPDNow

The hip-hop star tweeted out an apology to Hoosiers following word that there was a safety threat, saying "My safety and your safety first."

Bankers Life Fieldhouse announced tickets for Tuesday's concert will be honored Sept. 11, and fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled show can receive refunds. Tuesday's concert was postponed about a half-hour before it was scheduled to begin.
If you are unable to attend this new date, refunds will be issued at point of purchase.

And just a few hours before the announcement that her concert was to be rescheduled, Cardi asked her followers to make sure they watched the Democratic presidential debate happening in Detroit Tuesday night.
