INDIANAPOLIS — The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has removed its display of Michael Jackson items from display.

Following HBO's latest documentary on the late pop icon, "Leaving Neverland," that depicts sexual abuse claims from two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, controversy has arose in almost every facet of his remembrance.

According to the Vice President of Marketing and External Communication for the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, Leslie Olsen, the museum felt "it was appropriate."

"The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis believes that at this time it was appropriate for us to remove the Michael Jackson fedora, glove and poster from display."

Following HBO's premiere of the documentary at Sundance in late January, social media and Hollywood alike have been at a consistent debate.
