INDIANAPOLIS — Broadway in Indianapolis announced Thursday when the public could get their hands on the 'Hamilton' tickets. A show that musical-goers knew to watch for since March of last year.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at the Old National Centre Box or on Ticketmaster.com.

The Tony Award-winning show has several performances scheduled from December 10 to December 29.

When tickets go on sale, expect prices to range anywhere from $75 to $400.

A lottery for 40 tickets priced at $10 each — for every performance — will also be announced closer to the dates.

"It's tempting to get tickets any way you can. There are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets," Jeffrey Seller, 'Hamilton' producer, said. "For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the Indianapolis engagement should be made through Ticketmaster.com."

'Hamilton' tells the story of America's Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton — an immigrant from the West Indies.
