NOBLESVILLE — Sammy Hagar & The Circle and Whitesnake are joining forces for a summer tour that will bring them to Noblesville in August.
The Ruoff Music Center announced the concert on Monday. Joining the headliners on the 30-city tour is special guest Night Ranger.
The tour kicks of July 9 in West Palm Beach, Fla. and will wrap up Sept. 20 in Chula Vista, Calif. The tour comes to Noblesville on Aug. 15 as part of the Coors Light Concert Series.
To celebrate the tour announcement, Sammy Hagar and David Coverdale of Whitesnake released a special video talking about their first impressions of each other as well as first memories, how touring was then versus now and more.
"I love some friendly competition on stage and that's exactly what this is going to be," Hagar said in a statement. "David and I have nothing but the highest respect for one another, but we would also like to blow the other guy off the stage! Add in Night Ranger and the fans will have one hell of a night of music."
Sammy Hagar & The Circle has a setlist that includes "There's Only One Way to Rock," "Finish What Ya Started," and "I can't Drive 55."
Whitesnake has a catalogue that includes " Here I Go Again," "Still of the Night," "Fool for Your Loving," and "Is This Love."
Night Ranger's setlist includes "Sister Christian," "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," and "When You Close Your Eyes."
Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m.
