INDIANAPOLIS — Nickelodeon’s Dora and Diego will be returning to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis as a bilingual experience on Saturday.
For five months, families can again visit the Children's Museum and meet Dora, Diego, Boots, Map, Backpack, Isa, Tico, and Swiper.
The preschool-aged experience engages visitors through problem-solving, active play, and lessons in being a good friend, caring for animals, and the environment.
Ten years ago, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis built and debuted the Dora and Diego exhibit. Since then, it has toured the country.
In its return to Indianapolis, the exhibit has been updated as a bilingual experience that includes an interpreter in Spanish and English. Exhibit label copy will be written in both languages,
and families can learn Spanish words and phrases together.
The most-popular episodes and places incorporated in the exhibit include:
- Rocket Ship
- Constellations
- Isa's Flowery Garden
- Tico's Tree and Car
- Pirate Ship
- Animal Rescue Center
