INDIANAPOLIS — The parent company of St. Elmo Steak House, Harry & Izzy's, Burger Study and 1933 Lounge opened its eighth restaurant on Monday in Fishers.

HC Tavern + Kitchen at The Yard in Fishers is a two-story American grill that will be serving both lunch and dinner, with brunch options on weekends.

Patrons of HC Tavern will find the menu options utterly different from the classic steaks and St. Elmo Cocktail sauce offered at other Huse Culinary establishments. Dishes include wagyu corndogs, oysters, dry rub roasted baby back ribs, lobster roll, and much more variance from the company's classic flares.

HC Tavern is Huse Culinary's nod to Hamilton County — hence the name. Coming right off the heels of the new 1933 Lounge opening in the Fishers District in December, this is the second Huse Culinary eatery in The Yard.

"As we focus on intentional growth, Fishers stood out for its progressive work to strategically attract investments, jobs, and residents that provide quality growth," Craig Huse, CEO of Huse Culinary, said. "We've built this restaurant as a restaurant for Hamilton County - hence the HC in the name. The new concept provides an additional dining option for our loyal guests and more career opportunities for our team. We purchased the land and built our restaurant as part of our commitment to the City to further develop the area."

Although HC Tavern is making a distinct mark from its predecessors, factors in common with the rest of the Huse Culinary restaurants is the multiple private dining rooms, the capacity to seat more than 200 guests, and large murals of popular, local art.

Former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning has once again teamed up with the Huse Culinary group as a partner in the new eatery. Manning also serves as a partner of Harry & Izzy's. Other partners include Steve Huse, Craig Huse, Chris Clifford, and Tom Browne.

Many of the leadership roles within HC Tavern will be filled with employees who received promotions within the company.
