OAK BROOK, IL. — Portillo's announced Thursday its newest location will be in Westfield at the Grand Park Sports Complex by late 2021.
The restaurant will be at the entrance of the complex, located at the intersection of Wheeler Road and State Road 32.
As the nation's largest youth sports campus', the area draws in about 2.5 million visitors per year, making it the perfect family spot for Portillo's CEO Michael Osanloo.
“As a family-focused restaurant brand, we’re excited to be right by the Grand Park Sports Complex that welcomes so many families each year,” Osanloo said. “We look forward to serving delicious meals in a fun environment to the local community as well as to athletes and their families and friends.”
Westfield's Portillo's will be 7,800 square feet with seating room for more than 190 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio with room for up to 100 guests, and two drive-thru lanes.
This location will soon mark seven of the Chicago-style hot dog eateries in Indiana. The restaurant is predicted to be open by the second half of 2021.
