INDIANAPOLIS — The latest additions to downtown Indianapolis' Bottleworks District include new tenants inside The Garage food hall and the Bottleworks Hotel.

Axle's Garage Tap and Blupoint Oyster House & Bar recently opened at The Garage.

Axle's is a new concept introduced by Geronimo Hospitality Group. As its name preludes, Axle's offers tap-poured craft and specialty beer. It boasts a curated menu of 20 beers from both popular and not-quite-known brands.

Recently, Blupoint opened its second location at The Garage. It first opened in the SoBro area last year right before the pandemic swept across the states, offering seafood diners in Indy shucked-to-order oysters.

Another recently-opened business in the district is The W Nail Bar on the first floor of the Bottleworks Hotel. The nail bar is an exclusively acrylic-free location using handmade products.

Jeff Whiteman, Chief Operating Officer for Geronimo Hospitality Group, says one of its goals is to be a "vibrant, all-encompassing destination within this growing city" of Indianapolis, and these new tenants help establish that.

“We hope the continuation of new tenant openings excites and entices the community to try something new they can’t find anywhere else,” Whiteman said.

Seven more businesses will be entering the district as the spring comes around.

WRTV introduced readers to The Woodhouse Day Spa, which will be opening at the Bottleworks Hotel in March. Blue Collar Coffee and Cunnigham Restaurant Group's Modita will also be joining the hotel's opening lineup in March. Also joining them later this spring will be the world-class cocktail program that is Sundry and Vice.

Additional openings at Bottleworks will be the Pins Mechanical Co., Chapati Beta and DryBar.
