How to make a Peanuts version of yourself

Posted

The Peanuts characters are well-known to generations of Americans--not to mention people around the world.

Do you relate to bossy Lucy or angst-ridden Charlie Brown? Ahead of "The Peanuts Movie," hitting theaters on Nov. 6, there is a fun and interactive way to become part of the crowd.

The movie producers (Blue Sky Studios) have created a website where you can assemble features that allow you to create a Peanuts character in your own likeness. Caveat: Snoopy and Woodstock are not included; this is for humans only.

The Peanutize Me tool allows to pick skin tone, hair, facial features, outfits and even a background. It takes a couple of minutes. If you don't like the results, you can go back and edit.

Then, you can easily share the results on Facebook and Twitter, or download and share that way.

What is "The Peanuts Movie" about?

Here is what the website says about the plot:

"Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts” gang make their big-screen debut, like they’ve never been seen before, in state of the art 3D animation.

Charlie Brown, the world’s most beloved underdog, embarks upon an epic and heroic quest, while his best pal, the lovable beagle Snoopy, takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron." MORE
