6 in the City: Zydeco's brings real New Orleans flavor to central Indiana

Posted

MOORESVILLE, Ind. -- You don't have to go all the way to New Orleans to get authentic Cajun and Creole food.

Just head to Zydeco's on Main Street in Mooresville.

Restaurant owners Carter and Deb Hutchinson want you to feel like you're dining in the Big Easy.

They met at Mardi Gras, she brought him back to Indy, and they opened Zydeco's 20 years ago.

Zydeco's gets fresh and specialty ingredients straight from Louisiana, so it takes several days to gather, prep and cook the food.

That's why they're open from Wednesday through Saturday.
