LAWRENCE, Ind. – Owners of Da Blue Lagoon, a food truck often found in various parts of downtown Indy, plans to open a brick and mortar restaurant within the next few months.
Da Blue Lagoon: Jamaican Kitchen will open on the city’s northeast side at 11705 Pendleton Pike, in Oaklandon Plaza.
It’s not clear if the restaurant’s menu will be an exact match of the food truck’s offering, but if it does, customers can dig into red beans and rice, coconut curry chicken, Jamaican beef patties and a variety of jerk-style meats.
Until the opening, those in need of tasty Jamaican food can visit them Fridays on Georgia Street and at the First Friday Food Truck Festival.
