INDIANAPOLIS — Thanks to the Colts, several local businesses, and volunteers, 2,000 Indianapolis families will have a Thanksgiving meal.
On Monday, Colts players, cheerleaders, and mascot Blue were among those handing out food for the Colts' eighth year of 'Horseshoe Helpings.'
Each family gets a turkey, sides, and pumpkin pie.
This year, the campaign is sending 50 meals to ten churches in the area. The churches are then able to give those meals out to people who were unable to attend Monday's event.
