INDIANAPOLIS — Mary Stump wanted to find ways to help kids in public schools. The problem was big, but an idea popped into her head while waiting to recycle scrap metal for her employer.
Stump's decision to become the so-called "Can Lady," and her efforts, have earned her July's Jefferson Award for Multiplying Good.
