INDIANAPOLIS -- The Humane Society of Indianapolis added a new resident to one of its kennels Tuesday. But he's not up for adoption.

The CEO of IndyHumane, Steven Stolen, spent Tuesday in a kennel for Giving Tuesday to raise money and awareness for his organization.

"My colleagues are the best possible of anywhere," Stolen said. "If we raise a little money, that's awesome, of course. That's always the goal on Giving Tuesday, so give."

Last year, IndyHumane raised $16,000 on Giving Tuesday. The organization is trying to beat that amount this year.

Stolen had a small office set up in the kennel -- his laptop, some reading material, a photo of his family in case he gets lonely and, of course, some snacks.
