FISHERS — The Hot Room, a hot yoga and pilates studio, officially opened its fourth location at The Yard at Fishers District on Saturday.
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the owner of The Hot Room, Hye Jin Kalgaonkar, opened with air-purification on her mind.
“The challenge of building out a studio during a global pandemic is by far the most challenging task our team has accomplished to date," Kalgaonkar said. "We’ve never worked so hard to build a studio with the highest safety standards and amenities to support our mission of helping individuals live their best life."
According to The Hot Room, the new studio is the "most advanced hot exercise facility that incorporates humidification, heated fresh air, radiant heating as well as dehumidification."
The studio's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning include purification ducts that ensure the air inside and outside the studio is disinfected using UV lighting, according to The Hot Room.
“We are thrilled to be growing our small business in Indiana and reaching more people with our powerful hot yoga and hot pilates classes. Now more than ever, we feel it’s important for people to care for their physical and mental health and be a part of a supportive community," Kalgaonkar said. "At The Hot Room, we have built such a community where people of all ages and diverse backgrounds come together to challenge you, cheer you on and hold space for you so you can jumpstart your most powerful life."
The Hot Room plans to open its fifth location in December in Bloomington.
