Herbal water for infants that was sold at Dollar General stores across the country has been recalled because of a possible choking hazard.
The Food and Drug Administration says Kingston Pharma LLC issued the voluntary recall for DG Baby Gripe Water "due to the presence of an undissolved ingredient."
The herbal supplement with organic ginger and fennel extracts also contains a citrus flavonoid which may be undissolved and could cause difficulty in swallowing for some children.
The product is packaged in a 4-ounch amber bottle with a white plastic cap and a safety seal.
The recall affects all DG Baby Gripe Water products shipped and sold within the United States.
The product has UPC Code 8 5495400346 3.
The company says any consumer that has purchased the product should stop use immediately and discard of it.
