INDIANAPOLIS — Butler University is holding a formal commencement ceremony for all 2020 graduates in December.
The ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Hinkle Fieldhouse for those who are graduating in May, August, and December, said Dr. Kathryn Morris, provost and VP for Academic Affairs.
In a letter to the Butler community, Morris says more information will be forthcoming.

Spring commencement, which was scheduled for May 9, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Morris says the idea for the ceremony came from a survey, which graduates voted for a traditional commencement ceremony in December.
