Anderson — Buffet-style restaurants are suffering during the pandemic.
So much so, that Golden Corral has been closing many of its locations across the U.S.
One of the latest is in Anderson, at 6315 Scatterfield Road, near Interstate 69.
The business impact of the pandemic was cited as the reason. COVID-19 restrictions have put a halt to self-serve buffets and salad bars, which is Golden Corral's specialty.
According to a Facebook post, the Anderson location is permanently closed.
