INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance is joining other insurance companies sending refunds to their auto policy holders.
With less traffic on the roads because of the pandemic, there are fewer accidents and fewer claims for the insurance companies to pay.
Indiana Farm Bureau policy holders will receive $20 for each personal auto policy they have. In a Thursday announcement, the company said refunds would be made through direct deposit or checks sent in the mail. No action needs to be taken by customers.
For those who are having financial troubles at this time, Farm Bureau is extending the deadline for premium payments.
