BLOOMINGTON — The list of Greek houses under COVID-19 quarantine at IU-Bloomington is still growing.
As of Wednesday afternoon, an additional 16 sororities and fraternities were added to the list, bringing the total to 30, That's more than half of the 42 Greek organizations on the Bloomington campus.
A spokesperson for the university said the 30 Greek houses are made up of over 1,000 students.
The chapters have been asked to quarantine for 14 days. During that time, all in-person activities, except dining are prohibited.

There are around 2,600 students that live in Greek, Evans Scholars and Christian Student Fellowship houses on campus, out of the more than 40,000 students at IU Bloomington, the university said.

- Delta Gamma
- Delta Zeta
- Gamma Phi Beta
- Kappa Alpha Theta
- Kappa Delta
- Kappa Kappa Gamma
- Phi Delta Theta
- Phi Gamma Delta
- Phi Kappa Psi
- Pi Beta Phi
- Pi Kappa Phi
- Phi Sigma Kappa

According to the university, students in the quarantined chapters have been directed to leave the house and find an alternative place to quarantine. Their permanent residence is the desired quarantine location, but if that is not possible the chapters have been asked to work with members to determine an alternate quarantine location.
