INDIANAPOLIS — The varsity and JV football teams at Bloomington North High School won't be playing this weekend, and COVID-19 is the reason.
According to Principal Michelle Brittain-Watts, one football player tested positive for COVID-19. That player and his close contacts on the team are in quarantine.
Friday's varsity home game against Jeffersonville is off as is the JV game game on Saturday at Jeffersonville.
In the coming days, the school must also determine the status of an October 2 game at Roncalli in Indianapolis.
