COVID-19 forces shutdown at Taylor High School/Middle School

KOKOMO — A positive COVID-19 test has forced the Taylor Community School System in Kokomo to close its high school and middle school.

Superintendent Christopher Smith dismissed school at 10 a.m. Friday after test results for a food services worker came back positive. eLeaning will be in effect through November 18.

This past Tuesday, Taylor Elementary School was also closed following a positive test for a food services employee there.

All the schools are located on the southeast side of Kokomo, about 50-miles from Indianapolis.
