DELAWARE COUNTY — A football player at Delta High School in Delaware County has tested positive for COVID-19, according to the district.
It's not clear how many people may have come in contact with the infected football player.
"We are currently in the process of determining proper notifications for potential quarantines and isolation," Delaware Community Schools Superintendent Reece Mann said in an email Friday.
This is the first case of COVID-19 in the school district, Mann said in a tweet.
DelCom has experienced our first positive case of Covid-19 at Delta High School. Appropriate contacts have been made and we are following our guidelines. Health department continues to play a pivotal role in our decision making. See you on Monday, DAY 3. Eagle Pride!
