FRANKLIN — Just over three months after closing due to COVID-19, the Johnson County Library is set to reopen its four branches on June 22.
The branches in Franklin, Greenwood, New Whiteland and Trafalgar will observe normal hours, but with some restrictions for now.
Here's a list from the library on what to expect.
- Patrons need to find what they need quickly and efficiently. This “Grab and Go” idea will limit any possible exposure to COVID-19.
- Fewer seating options will be available. We ask patrons to read outside of the library.
- Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of 30 minutes a day.
- Social distancing is required.
- Library staff will be wearing masks and will make them available to patrons who do not have one.
- The following services are not yet available: toys, games, other interactives, newspapers, meeting rooms and in-person programs
- Curbside JCPL-to-Go service will continue allowing patrons to pick-up materials without going into the branches.
