NOBLESVILLE -- With schools shut down into May due to the pandemic, many students, especially the little ones, are no doubt missing their teachers.

The teachers at North Elementary in Noblesville are doing something about that, while keep a safe distance.

Sunday, starting at 1:30 p.m., North teachers will drive their specially-decorated vehicles through the school's neighborhoods.

They will honk, wave and cheer to their students from afar.

The teachers are meeting Sunday in the school parking lot to begin the drive.

Parents of children who attend North Elementary are urged to bring the young ones outside the house so they can take part.

Should be a great opportunity to see how much students and teachers are missing each other, and how far teachers are going to show love and support to their students.
