PUTNAM CO. — South Putnam Schools announced Tuesday it would be sending some of their students home because of concerns about COVID-19 infection.
South Putnam Middle and High School will move to virtual learning for at least the rest of this school week.
Putnam County is among those in the state's yellow category for COVID-19 spread as of last week due to a rise in cases and the positive test rate.
