INDIANAPOLIS — For Erin Hardin and Courtney Munsell the best part of teaching kindergarten is creating those special bonds and getting to see those "ah-ha" moments when something finally clicks for their students.
But because of COVID-19, they are missing out on a big part of their students' kindergarten chapter. Sure, the teachers are still teaching them and interacting with them weekly, but they say its not the same.
So, both Hardin and Munsell made little care packages to let their students know they are still there for them. The care packages included things like a pot and seeds to plant, and some teachers even included a cutout version of themselves for the students to take on new adventures.
