COLUMBUS — The buses are running again in Columbus.

The city's five-route transit system shut down on March 17 over COVID-19 concerns and restrictions. It resumed operations this week.

The schedule is the same as before the shutdown, with bus service from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

To reduce the possibility of infection, buses are sanitized once an hour. Riders are encourage to wear face coverings and to practice social distancing at bus stops.

The best news is the fare. For now, there isn't one.
