DELAWARE COUNTY — The Delaware County Health Department is ordering nursing homes and assisted living facilities to stop transferring patients to help stop the spread of COVID-19
In an order signed Saturday afternoon, county health officer Dr. Donna Wilkins says any patient should not be transferred to a facility in Delaware County.
Any nursing home, assisted living, or similar facility, which has recently received patients from outside of the county, should immediately remove them without a delay, according to the order.
