INDIANAPOLIS — A local doctor is working with a private lab to help test the public for COVID-19 at a pop-up site in Indianapolis.
Dr. Dorian Kenleigh says he is working with a lab in Texas to provide COVID-19 screenings for the public on Wednesday.
He has a contract with Texas-based AIT labs to perform the tests and results will be provided within 48 hours.

There is a $100 flat fee for the drive-thru screening. Kenleigh says he expects insurance or Medicaid and Medicare to pay for the lab fees.
Kenleigh says suspects public testing similar to what he is offering isn't available elsewhere because a lot of the previous testing was done through the state health department and agencies.
The Indiana State Department of Health is reminding people all COVID-19 tests must be ordered by a doctor and processed in an FDA certified lab.
A spokesperson for ATI Labs says they're waiting to get FDA approval. Until they get approval, the tests are being processed by Thermo-Fisher, which is FDA approved.
On Saturday, Kenleigh ran his first drive-thru testing site and says he hopes to expand testing sites throughout the city.
Testing is scheduled to run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday at 1400 E. 12 St.
