Dollar General offering discount to medical personnel during fight against coronavirus

INDIANAPOLIS — Dollar General announced it will provide a discount for people on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus.

According to a press release, the company will provide a medical personnel, first responders and activated National Guardsmen with a 10% discount.

Customers can show their employment badge or ID to receive the discount.

Dollar General will offer the discount through April 30, and the release said the company will evaluate possibly extending the offer based on the status of the pandemic.
