CARMEL — Central Indiana families continue to find creative and special ways to safely celebrate major milestones.
Roberta Nelson turned 100 on Wednesday. She lives in a long-term care facility in Carmel and is currently recovering from COVID-19.
Ms. Nelson is in isolation right now. But, that didn't stop her family from putting together a birthday concert outside of her window.
"Normally, she's not really fond of big birthday bashes and my brother had asked her, 'Are you excited about turning 100,' and she said no very emphatically," Sheila Crouch, Nelson's daughter, said.
Happy birthday, Ms. Nelson!
