INDIANAPOLIS — All Goodwill stores in central and southern Indiana will close to shoppers beginning Friday, due to the coronavirus.
The closure will be until further notice, an email from the company said.
The stores will continue to accept donations from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
“This situation is unlike anything our community has ever faced,” the email reads. “Our first concern is the well-being of our employees, many of whom came to work for Goodwill because of an employment barrier that made finding a job elsewhere difficult, if not impossible.”
It is not yet known if this closure affects Goodwill stores nationwide.
