GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Courthouse Annex will close to the public for four days after two employees tested positive for COVID-19.
There is no emergency - the closure is out of an abundance of caution, Hancock County Commissioner John Jessup said Friday.
Neither of the employees interacted with the public while they were infected, Jessup said.
A couple other employees are being tested, but administrators felt it would be best to close the office for a few days.
The office was going to be closed on Friday, July 3 for the holiday, so the previous four days will be by appointment only. It’s expected to reopen fully on Monday, July 6.
