INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson says the number of Hoosiers requesting absentee ballots for the November election is reaching "unprecedented" levels.
Lawson said Wednesday that nearly 100,000 absentee ballot requests have been received so far. For all of 2016, 53,000 absentee ballots were processed.
If you plan to vote-by-mail with an absentee ballot, you need to request one by October 19 and it needs to be mailed back by October 27.
