INDIANAPOLIS — With the COVID-19 pandemic keeping children inside for the time being, Girl Scouts of Central Indiana has launched a way to keep girls engaged with their families and communities.

The organization has launched Girl Scouts at Home, which allows the scouts to earn badges while social distancing.

The new program allows girls to learn about STEM, entrepreneurship, life skills and the outdoors, according to a release.

Some activities include:

  • observing the moon’s cycle
  • learning the basics of coding
  • delving into the science of happiness.
