INDIANAPOLIS — There were 58 new COVID-19 cases confirmed in the state of Indiana on Monday, bringing the total number of Hoosiers with the virus to 259.
So far the state has conducted nearly 2,000 tests, meaning about one out of every eight people tested has been positive for the virus.
The Indiana State Health Department says seven of those diagnosed with the virus have died, including three people in Marion County and one in each Allen, Delaware, Johnson and Scott counties.
Marion County has reported the most positive cases of COVID-19 with 110, Hamilton County has 21 cases, Johnson County has 14 and Hendricks County has 12.
