INDIANAPOLIS – Over the past month, COVID-19 cases, deaths and hospitalizations have increased in the state of Indiana.

The following graphics show those increases since the beginning of the pandemic.

This shows the number of cases in Indiana per 100,000 residents, compared to the four surrounding states. Illinois has the most cases per capita, followed by Indiana.

The next chart shows the number of deaths that occurred on each day in Indiana from the pandemic, as well as the previous 7-day rolling average.

The third visualization shows the number of hospitalizations on a given day. As of Oct. 20, there are more people hospitalized for COVID-19 than any point since May.
