INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Fair will take place from June 19-28 as planned, though without any 4-H participation.

The Marion County Fairgrounds and Events Center released a statement Wednesday afternoon, saying all events through May 31 have been suspended, but the county fair is still scheduled as planned.

Purdue Extension has previously announced that 4-H will not participate in fairs or events through June 30.

“As our team continues to monitor local and state health guidelines on a daily basis – we are working closely and diligently with state and local partners to ensure the safety of the community here in Marion County and that remains our primary focus,” said Paul Annee, Marion County Fairgrounds Public Information Officer.

The fair will take place at the Marion County Fairgrounds at 7300 E. Troy Avenue.
