INDIANAPOLIS — Soliders' Angels is working to give at-risk and low income veterans and families food and supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through mobile food distributions, the non-profit has been providing monthly food assistance to veterans since 2015, according to a press release.
Volunteers are giving 200 veterans and their families 75 pounds of food at locations across the country, according to the release. Working with local Veterans Affairs case workers, volunteers are also delivering food and supplies to veterans who may be quarantined at home.
Hygiene kits are being distributed to Veterans Affairs hospitals in short supply across the country, according to the release.
