INDIANAPOLIS — Two police officers and one firefighter in Indianapolis have tested positive for COVID-19.
One Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer who tested positive has been off work since March 12, Aliya Wishner, director of communications for the city of Indianapolis, said in an email. The other officer works in a covert unit. The covert unit, as well as both officers who have tested positive for COVID-19, are self-quarantined at home and being monitored.
The firefighter who tested positive is also self-quarantined at home, Wishner said. Other firefighters on the same crew will be tested at Eli Lilly.
