INDIANAPOLIS — Members of the Indiana Department of Health have gone to great lengths to convince people to take the COVID-19 vaccine, even spending more than $100,000 on a local Super Bowl commercial.
But some have still simply refused.
Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box said people who refuse a vaccine are asked why.
“I was told the other day that the top reason is, ‘I just don’t want it,’” Box said Wednesday.
Box said some people who refuse the vaccine say they want to wait and make sure no serious side effects show up on those who’ve taken it.
