INDIANAPOLIS -- Marion County prosecutors have charged an 18-year-old man with beating and robbing and east side mother and daughter at their home earlier this month.
James Williams, 18, faces seven charges ranging from burglary, armed robbery, kidnapping and battery by means of a deadly weapon.
He's accused of breaking into a home in the Park Valley Estates with three other, still unnamed men, dragging a woman and her daughter out of bed, pistol-whipping them and then threatening them at gunpoint.

The men told the woman, who asked not to be identified, that they thought her son had stolen a gun from them.
The men never found a gun in the house, but they did steal approximately $20,000-worth of jewelry, along with $2,000 in cash, according to the woman.
As of Tuesday morning, Williams was being held at the Marion County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
