MUNCIE, Ind. -- A group that aims to curb the violence in Muncie kicked off their efforts Thursday night with their first community patrol.

“Enough is Enough” is Muncie's version of the Indy Ten Point Coalition. The group is made up entirely of volunteers who will walk the streets of Muncie on a regular basis in an effort to reduce the crime in their community.

The group has been training with Reverend Charles Harrison and Indy’s Ten Point Coalition over the past month to get tips on what has made the Indianapolis group successful.

“We’re fighting for our community, so when you get enough of something you’re going to change it,” said Marwin Strong with Fight Against Drugs and Violence. “That’s what we’re here to do in our movement.”

“Enough is Enough” officially launched their patrols Thursday evening but they’re still looking for more residents to get involved.
