Police searching for man who set fire at Indianapolis hotel causing thousands in damage

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted in connection with a hotel fire that caused several thousand of dollars in damage.

Police say the suspect went into the laundry room of the Motor 8 Inn on 3731 North Shadeland Avenue around 4:40 a.m. on November 4 and started a fire.

The suspect left the scene in a silver four-door car.
